I received this eye-popping piece of paper in the mail yesterday from the ever-inspiring Jon Mcnally. Check out his blog for some amazement.

Thanks Jon!

Sam Anderson and I worked on this space comic on various Saturday afternoons over the passed few months. If you’re awesome, you bought one at Fallcon a few weeks ago. But you can also check it out HERE!
!WARNING! IF YOU’RE THE KIND OF PERSON WHO CAN’T STAND TYPOS DO NOT READ THIS COMIC!
The always awesome Sarah Morean did this mini documentary about 24HOUR COMIC DAY for the Daily Crosshatch. Lucky for you it features interview segments from none other than Brett VonSchlosser and yours truly.

PUNY directed a music for Robbert Bobbert, the alter ego of Robert Schneider of the Apples In Stereo. Myself and a bunch of super-great cartoonists were asked to contribute super heroes to fill out the amazing transformation sequences. Here are some (not all) of the valiant knights of virtue-true that people submitted. Check out the VIDEO!

There he is, there’s the Haint!

My pal Chris Eliopoulos drew this awesome picture of the Intrepideers’ greatest scoundrel Grimace Grimezone. Chris is one of my favorite cartoonists on the planet. Please do yourself a favor and check out his site.

Coleman Engle (check out his site, he’s an amazing cartoonist/illustrator, who I’m totally intimidated by) sent me this stunning celebration of the two most righteous babes of the Intrepideers, Duum and Setsuko. It absolutely blew my mind when I opened it up.

Here’s how it works, if you couldn’t already imagine.
Thanks Coleman!
That Salty Air received a nice shout-out for it’s cover design in COMIC BOOK DESIGN by Gary Spencer Millidge. (I met Gary at San Diego in 2008 and picked up his comic StrangeHaven, of which I’m a huge fan, and I can’t wait for the next volume.) I’ve been reading through the book for the past few weeks and have realized that I have a lot to learn about design. Good thing the book breaks it down in way that even I can understand it. I recommend checking it out.

Kriske’s pictures are done, check them out. I do not claim in any way to know how to use watercolor. I’m very new to it, and actually don’t do a lot of things in any color at all, which is something I need to work on. Thus I’ve jumped into watercolor.

I guess I told Matt Kriske I’d draw something for him, so I’m doing these two wonderful works for him.
If you don’t know, it’s those bad brothers Barles and Charles Ronan finally settling the score.

I got a copy of Kevin Cannon’s Far Arden on Friday. It was a very pleasant surprise in my mailbox after a long hard day of work. I must say, Kevin and those wonderful guys at Top Shelf Comix did an amazing job on this hardcover comics extravaganza! I said this before, but I’ll say it again, I think this book’s gonna blow up this summer, so get them while they last. I know Kevin is going to be at a lot of conventions this summer, so say hi to him and make him sign your copy of this lovely little number.
